IFDA AUGUST 2017 NEWSLETTER

Join us every Saturday from 7:30 p.m. to 10:45 p.m. at University United Methodist Church, 6901 Washington Ave., University City (St. Louis).  Admission is $3.00 per person (free if under 18).  All IFDA events are co-sponsored by the National Folk Organization (NFO).

Note: After a long hiatus (seven weeks in Jordan, Montana), I've restarted posting the Reminders/Newsletter to bring everyone up to date with all IFDA activities.  It was another successful year with our Paleo X program (Adventure 360) in the Badlands of Montana prospecting for dinosaur fossils.  We found, excavated and jacketed over 71 dinosaur fossils with our participants, science teachers, families and Field School high school students that will be used in research and education.  Some of the fossils I will be prepping at the St. Louis Science Center in the Fossil Prep Lab every Tuesday and Thursday.

Last Saturday, August 8th, Andy did a superb job with a great program that gave us a wonderful evening of dancing.  VERY WELL DONE ANDY and THANK YOU!

A BIG CONGRATULATIONS TOSarahRon & Noah Falkoff and Faye and Andy Reiter (grandparents) for the birth of their daughter (granddaughter), Sonia Rose Falkoff, born 8:17, August 4, 2017, 6 lbs 12oz, 19 inches.

For this upcoming Saturday, August 19th, Bill will be the evening's programmer and selected dances for Balkan Camp will be taught.  It's going to be another FUN EVENING OF DANCING with BILL - AND DON'T MISS the opportunity to learn some of the wonderful Balkan Camp Dances!
