Super Bowl Party

Watch the New York Giants play the New England Patriots — or just watch the commercials — along with your fellow folk dancers on Sunday, February 5 starting at 5 p.m.  Same location as Scandinavian/International Couple Dancing (call numbers below for information).  Bring your favorite dish, dessert and drinks for the "Superbowl Potluck."  You are also invited to bring your favorite game to share with others.

NOTE:  Dates, times, and places are subject to change, especially those more than about a month in the future.  If you are coming a long distance, it would be wise to call one of the above numbers for possible last-minute changes.

The year 2011 has been an exciting one for the IFDA.  Thanks to all who came to our Macedonian dance workshop taught by Michael Ginsburg on February 18-20, our mini-workshop on Greek folk dances taught by Joe Kaloyanides Graziosi on June 10, the concert of Transylvanian music and dance by the Heveder Hungarian Folk Ensemble on June 22, our dance party and singing workshop with Bulgarika on October 1, and our Scandinavian dance workshop taught by Roo Lester and Larry Harding, accompanied by the Hardanger fiddle player Loretta Kelley on December 2-3.  See our Past Workshop and Concert Page to find out what you missed if you weren't there, and to see what we have been doing over the past years.
